Konstantinos Semertzidis is a Technical Lead at Coca-Cola HBC. Before joining Coca-Cola, he worked as a Tech Lead Manager at Kaizen, Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies R&D (UK) Ltd, Research Engineer at IBM's Dublin Research Laboratory (DRL), and Application Developer at IBM Client Innovation Centre UK.
Konstantinos has had a remarkable academic journey, earning a Ph.D. from the esteemed Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Ioannina in Greece. His research endeavors focus on cutting-edge areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT), evolving graph data management, query processing, graph databases, and social network analysis. His contributions in these domains have been recognized through publications in renowned academic journals and conferences such as TKDE, WWW, ICDE, and EDBT. During his tenure as a Ph.D. student, Konstantinos gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at IBM Research and Nokia Bell Labs.
Before pursuing his doctoral studies, Konstantinos completed his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina in 2012, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field. He further enhanced his academic credentials by obtaining an MSc in Computing from the University of York in 2013.
