Konstantinos Semertzidis, PhD

Konstantinos Semertzidis is a Research Engineer at IBM's Dublin Research Laboratory (DRL) since February 2019. Prior to joining DRL, he was working as an Application Developer at IBM Client Innovation Centre UK, on Inventory Linking Exports/ Re-arrivals project of HM Revenue and Customs.
Konstantinos holds a PhD from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering of the University of Ioannina in Greece. His research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), evolving graph data management, query processing, graph databases, and social network analysis. During his PhD studies he has worked as a Research Intern at IBM Research and Nokia Bell Labs. Before his PhD, he obtained his BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Ioannnina in 2012, and his MSc in Computing from the University of York in 2013.

Oct 2021 Our submission titled Sentiment Polarization in Online Social Networks: The Flow of Hate Speech has been accepted to the full papers track of SNAMS 2021.
