Konstantinos Semertzidis is a Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies R&D (UK) Ltd. Prior to joining Huawei, he worked as a Research Engineer at IBM's Dublin Research Laboratory (DRL), and as an Application Developer at IBM Client Innovation Centre UK, on the Inventory Linking Exports/ Re-arrivals project of HM Revenue and Customs.

Konstantinos holds a PhD from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering of the University of Ioannina in Greece. His research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), evolving graph data management, query processing, graph databases, and social network analysis. In these areas, his work has been published in TKDE, WWW, ICDE, EDBT, etc. During his PhD studies, he worked as a Research Intern at IBM Research and Nokia Bell Labs. Before his PhD, he obtained his BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina in 2012, and his MSc in Computing from the University of York in 2013.
