What does an Education Program Consultant do?

Educator:

• Deliver presentations on content-area CTE topics to teachers, CTE coordinators, administrators, and stakeholders

• Stay informed on current trends, policies, and practices in the CTE community through conferences and professional development

• Support and guide local curriculum development to align with state and national standards
  
  

Field Support:

• Visit programs across the state to observe and share research-based best practices

• Assist local districts in developing and maintaining high-quality career pathways

• Collaborate with local leadership on program creation, expansion, and sustainability
  
  

Coach:

• Build educator capacity through coaching, mentoring, and model implementation (e.g., advisory committees, program evaluations)

• Empower administrators with tools and strategies to support and supervise CTE programs effectively

• Foster continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making and goal setting
