Lëvizja për turizmin ksamil

The first problem with the greatest impact on the sustainable development of the region is pollution, so our association after determining the cause began to offer solutions to this problem.

The reasons for the pollution are two:

1. mismanagement of waste in the territory of Ksamil by the responsible institutions and

2. improper behavior of the locals in waste treatment.

The solutions we offered are: Signing cooperation agreements with responsible institutions to contribute to improving the situation, monitoring them to implement the contract and regulation on waste management, awareness and education of locals to have an environmentally friendly approach to waste.

We concretized the solution in a project and with the project we applied for financial support. Leviz Albania offers us this support.

The application is built to give your contribution to keeping Ksamil clean, identifying a pollution situation and sending it to the application to respond. You can become a volunteer by participating in our next action. You can become an educator of cleanliness and give open lectures on how to behave for a clean environment.

Activities so far

• Placement of 30 small waste bins on the sidewalks of Ksamil

• Lectures with the students of the school "5-Deshmoret" Ksamil

• Production of 700 bags of clothes to reduce the use of plastic bags

• Educational video

• Three cleaning actions in the islands of Ksamil and the area of Pallavraq

• Three monitoring commissions, which conduct the monitoring of the Institutions responsible for waste management in the territory of Ksamil

• Monitoring and denunciations.

This application was built as part of the project "Ksamil I Paster" a project implemented by the association Lëvizja për Zhvillimin e Turizmit Ksamil with funding from Leviz Abania, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, SDC.
