received a DSc degree in Information and Communication Technology from the Scientific Discipline Board for Information and Communication Technology and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics, Polish Academy of Sciences, Gliwice, Poland in 2009.
Currently, he is an associate professor at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. He is a co-founder and CEO of Live-Docs.com in Krakow, Poland. He is a Member of the Management Team of the TN-Dose-3D science project at the Cracow University of Technology, Poland. He is an R&D Manager of the EU research project in EPL Poland Sp. z o.o. in Miedzyrzecz, Poland.
His research focuses on the field of biometric methods, gesture recognition, machine vision, radiotherapy and cosmic rays. Previous projects concerned bronchoscopy, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, virtualization, context awareness, service-oriented architecture and network protocols.
He cooperated in the fields of his research with Universities and Polish Academy of Science in Poland and enterprises: EPL Poland Sp. z o.o. in Miedzyrzecz, ComArch Healthcare S.A., VSoft S.A. and CCNS S.A. in Krakow, Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. in Warszawa, Poland and Siemens AG and Nokia Siemens Networks AG in Munich, Germany.
