I am an Assistant Professor of the AI Centre at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prior to that, I was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad. Earlier, I was a postdoctoral researcher at L3S Research Center, Leibniz University Hannover, and Northwestern University. I  received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2018. I was a part of the Complex Network Research Group (CNeRG) at IIT Kharagpur. My research interest lies in Document Retrieval and Explainable AI [my Google scholar profile] [my dblp profile].
