If Shakespeare had written a comedy (in contemporary English) about the current events of his day, this would be it! Holy Scheidt follows Cardinal Scheidt as he embarks to England from Rome on behalf of the Pope. The goal is to make amends with Elizabeth 1 over England's split with the Catholic Church. However, when Scheidt runs into Christopher Marlowe and Miguel Cervantes, all hell breaks loose and the Queen's virginal status might be at risk!
