Kristoffer Berg

I am a Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation and a Junior Research Fellow and Lecturer at Corpus Christi College. 

I am also an Associate Member of the Oxford University Economics Department and an Associated Researcher with Norwegian Fiscal Studies, University of Oslo. 

I received my PhD from the University of Oslo and have previously studied at the London School of Economics, been a Fulbright Scholar at UC Berkeley, interned at the International Monetary Fund and been a Visiting Researcher at LMU Munich.

My research interests are in public and welfare economics. I have combined theory and empirics to study taxation of workers, firms, shareholders and wealth. My current research agendas are:

1. Taxation of income from business, in particular shareholders. 

2. Fairness concerns and efficient redistribution policies.
