Kristoffer Berg

I am a Research Fellow at the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation and a Junior Research Fellow at Corpus Christi College.

I recently received my PhD from the University of Oslo and have previously studied at the LSE, visited UC Berkeley, and interned at the IMF.

My research interests are in public and welfare economics. Typically, my work combines theory and empirics to study tax policy.

I currently study fair taxation and have recent papers on inequality aversion and non-discrimination in the income tax, on optimal taxation based on equal sacrifice, and on intergenerational effects of wealth taxation.
