Your child's musical journey begins with encouragement, friendship, and a joyful learning experience! Imagine your child discovering music with friends, building confidence in playing the piano, and developing musical skills in an encouraging learning environment, where every child feels they belong.
At Kristin's Piano and Music Studio, there are "Musical Pathways" that grow with your child to first discover music, encourage beginning piano learning, and to grow in musicianship skills.
Musical Pathways (Programs) for Each Child...
"Music Friends" - Music & Movement Classes (for ages 3 - 6) are a weekly, fun group experience designed for little ones to wiggle, giggle, and move with music through rhythm instruments, singing, musical games, and creative activities. Children experience music in a weekly, fun environment to discover, enjoy, and learn beginning musical concepts and early skills.
"Piano Friends"- Small Group Piano Classes (for ages 4 1/2 - 7) is a wonderful beginning into piano lessons! Children have a great time meeting weekly to learn early piano skills, develop friendships, and build confidence in their piano playing! These classes build a solid musical foundation using a proven piano method, encouraging listening skills, piano playing, rhythm, and a love of creating music. These classes are kept small to allow for personal attention and differentiated instruction as needed.
Private Piano Lessons Children may continue with piano lessons throughout the elementary and teen years as they progress beyond the beginning levels. Piano lessons are also available, when appropriate, for students who need one-to-one instruction or have specific musical goals.
