I served as a research assistant for Civic Leader and co-edited the post-exhibition catalogue, Perspectives on a Legacy Collection: Sallie Casey Thayer’s Gift to the University of Kansas, published in 2020.

Civic Leader celebrated the centennial of Sallie Casey Thayer’s 1917 founding gift of more than 7,000 objects to the University of Kansas. Exploring Thayer’s collecting interests and motivations, the exhibition demonstrated the enduring impact of her gift on the SMA’s collection, mission, and programs.
