Garden Gallery

The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens is an educational institution that supports research in the humanities, arts, and botanical sciences. The Huntington, which opened in 1928, is located on the former estate of Henry and Arabella Huntington in San Marino, CA. The Huntington's themed botanical gardens include the Desert Garden, Japanese Garden, and Palm Garden. The art collection features eighteenth- and nineteenth-century European paintings such as Jean-Baptiste Hilair's In the Park, and the museum also displays site-specific works by contemporary artists such as Alex Israel.
