KrisOfficial Status Update July 2026

Our little Geometry Dash short animation is releasing this month! In the meantime, here’s a little peek at the next Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Episode, where we will be catching up with Red and Blue this time! Looks like they were hiding from something...

This month, we’d like to give some insight into the work that went on during the production of the AB Lofi project! From how we structured the scene and how we made everything one giant loop without any perceptible repetition.

It was originally planned to be an actual Shorts video, instead of a 24/7 live stream, but slowly the scope started to widen, and we realized that a small short animation wouldn't do it justice. We decided we want something for people to actually listen to while they do productive stuff! Here's some concept art Skim drew to try to capture that warm and cozy feeling we wanted for this set.

We wanted the background in AB Lofi to be as dynamic and seamless as possible. To get that dynamicness we want, it involved a lot of planning with how we wanted to layer scenes on top and make it as modular as possible.

For starters, we have the background layer, which is simply a looping day and night cycle in a forest environment, then we have the middle layer which is any random event (such as Orange and Red riding a camel) on a single color background for us to easily remove in Adobe Premiere Pro using chroma keying, and then the foreground layer featuring Yellow, where we chroma keyed the blue window cutout to make that part of it transparent so we can see the layers beneath that layer! We also sprinkle in some extra scenes, such as Yellow interacting with Orange, and much more, all of which resulted in a total length of 47 minutes of animation. Here is a visual breakdown!

The 3rd of June marked the 20th anniversary of Animator vs. Animation! Starting all the way back in the early days of the internet, is when Alan published Animator vs. Animation 1 onto Newgrounds on June 3rd, 2006. It was the second animation he published on Newgrounds and got 2nd place for best animation of the day! The original animation is still on Newgrounds to this day, and it's a real piece of history that we recommend checking out!

Ever since then, he has managed to build an indie animation studio with 30 million subscribers, breaking the boundaries of stick-figure animation and storytelling without words. But all of this wouldn't be possible without our fans! Alan and all of us on the team genuinely could not thank you all enough for the opportunities you have given us because of your support.

The planned set release date on 2027. On Steam reads: "Then when's Chapter 6? We are aiming for a 2027 release!"

The eleventh anniversary celebrating event upcoming on September 15, 2026. The newsletter added DELTARUNE Chapter 6 is still development. The world tour of the UNDERTALE The Determination Symphony event starts on August 23, 2026 to February 28, 2027.
