Welcome to the APM research group at KRICT (Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology)! Our interdisciplinary research team consists of highly skilled researchers with diverse backgrounds in polymer chemistry, materials science, organic chemistry, and photochemistry. Our focus is to investigate the molecular structure-property relationships and utilize this knowledge to design and synthesize novel monomers/building blocks to create advanced materials with tailored properties. Our special interest lies in utilizing light as a tool to synthesize advanced polymers and modulate the properties of macromolecules. Our team is dedicated to addressing fundamental scientific challenges in the field of polymer science and pushing the boundaries of advanced materials design.
