Last updated: 2026-01-03
This Privacy Policy explains how the AM PM 요일 application (“the App”) handles user data, permissions, and operations.

1. Data Collection
- The App does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information.
- The App does not require account login and does not send data to any external server.
- All displayed information (time, date, weekday, and widget formatting) is generated locally on the device and remains on the device.
2. Permissions Used
The App requests only the permissions necessary to provide its functionality and improve widget reliability.
2.1 Battery Optimization Exemption Request (Recommended)
- Permission: android.permission.REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS
- Purpose: To allow the user to optionally exclude the App from Android battery optimization, which can reduce cases where widget updates appear to stop on some devices/launchers.
- Important:
- This is NOT granted automatically. The App opens an Android system screen/popup and the user must choose Allow or Deny.
- The App will continue to work even if the user denies this request (the user may experience more frequent widget update delays depending on device policy).
- On some devices/OS versions, the system may describe this request using wording such as “Allow always running in the background.” This is the system’s wording for the same battery optimization exemption request.
2.2 System Broadcast Events (No Personal Data)
The App may respond to Android system broadcasts related to time and date changes (e.g., TIME_SET, DATE_CHANGED, TIMEZONE_CHANGED).
These broadcasts do not include user-identifiable content; they are used only to refresh the widget display.
3. How the App Works
- The App displays the current system time using Android’s TextClock.
- The App displays the current date and weekday derived from the device calendar.
- Widget update reliability:
- Automatic updates rely on the system and launcher behavior.
- The App includes a “manual refresh” safeguard: when the user taps the widget and opens the App, the widget is force-refreshed immediately to recover from rare cases where updates appear to stop.
4. Third-Party Access / SDKs
- The App does not send data to external servers or third parties.
- The App does not integrate advertisements, tracking SDKs, analytics, or profiling tools.
5. Data Security
Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, risks of data exposure are minimized.
All processing occurs locally on the user’s device.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App does not target children and does not knowingly collect personal information from users of any age.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the App changes (e.g., permissions, behavior, or platform requirements).
Any changes will be published with an updated release.
