Bǎo Shí, going by the english nickname Ruby, is a former hospital surgeon & doctor, now working as a freelance web developer. He lives in Meteorite Road with his twin brother, Ocean.
He was born human, until a shooting star crashed into Meteorite Road, causing everyone in the neighbourhood to be permanently transformed into paranormal beings.

Has a specific stammer where he'll repeat his sentences, usually about two or three times, with a few seconds' pause in-between. It's because his voice is so soft that he's not sure if the other person has heard him or not. "Hey, could you take a look at this? .........Could you take a look at this? ..........Hey, could you take a look?"
