❤️Personality

  Cheeky, playful, & kind of a chaotic little douche. Deceit's a masterful trickster who's been honing his craft for thousands of years- but despite his reputation & his own attempts to seem frightening, he's not really actually evil. He's more of a neutral being than anything; much like the deception he embodies, he's capable of doing terrible things & causing quite a mess of mental drama & broken relationships; but he's also capable of great service to others, as a protector & aide of those who may have good reasons to hide what they do, such as for the purpose of safety & stealth.

  Unfortunately, aeons of being misunderstood & misused have led Deceit down a more... rebellious streak. He's a known tough-guy jerk who enjoys messing with others because he thinks it's funny, but usually doesn't mean to cause any serious harm. ...Whether his 'pranks' are as harmless as he thinks they are is a whole 'nother story; but he's more seen as a public nuisance, than a villain.

  He cares more about what others think of him than anyone, including himself, realises. He's been seen as an irredeemable monster from the start, so what's the point in trying to be anything else? ...But he does daydream. He really does want to find true companionship & acceptance, but doesn't want to sacrifice his innate self in the process. He's the Spirit Of Lies & Deception & he enjoys it; but maybe what that definition truly means to him can change, someday.
