Shade is one of the main characters in Grey Clouds And Spilled Ink. Fae & faer friends started a Minecraft server together, only to find it's being haunted by a strange entity known as GREY_NULL. Shade is the first of the server members to find grey concrete in faer base, and the first to disappear.

Shy, sweet, self-deprecating. Shade is quick to hand out compliments but tends to deflect any
fae receives, regularly making jokes about how fae’s trash & bad at Minecraft. …Or everything, for that
matter. Still, fae’s a good friend when fae’s not self-flagellating, and often donates resources fae gets from
mining to the others’ building projects.
