I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at BIT Mesra. Prior to this, I served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Taiwan University, Taiwan. I completed my PhD in Mathematics at NIT Patna, India, under the supervision of Dr. Partha Sarathi Mandal, with whom I also worked as a Project Fellow (JRF) from January 2017 to August 2018. I hold an M.Sc. from IIT Bombay and a B.Sc. from Visva-Bharati University.
My research interests lie in Mathematical Biology, Empirical Dynamic Modelling (EDM), Stochastic Modelling, and the prediction of critical transitions in complex systems. I am particularly fascinated by data-driven approaches and enjoy working extensively on data analysis to understand dynamical behaviour in ecological and biological systems.
I’ve always found a deep sense of freedom in cycling and hiking, whether it’s pedaling along peaceful riverside paths or trekking through long, challenging mountain trails. My experiences in Taiwan — from the breathtaking Taoyuan Valley Trail to the serene cycling routes of Taipei — have strengthened my love for the outdoors and opened my eyes to how nature can refresh both the body and mind.
As I continue this journey, I’m excited to explore India’s vast and diverse landscapes. From the Western Ghats and Himalayan foothills to coastal routes and forested trails, India offers countless opportunities for unforgettable cycling and trekking adventures. I look forward to capturing these moments and sharing the beauty of my home country through every ride and every hike.
