I am a macro-econometrician and financial risk researcher at the World Bank Group - IFC, and a director of research and senior fellow at BAUM TenPers Research Institute in Virginia. My research interests cut across econometrics, development macroeconomics, international finance, and market risk modeling. I also do Bayesian analysis, focusing on its theory and applications in econometrics and machine learning.
Recently I have developed a new dynamic panel model with multi-layer network effects that are general and applicable to a wide spectrum of datasets where the extraction of endogenous interaction effects is relevant and of interest.
At BAUM TenPers, I supervise students in research and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in our online certificate program that has successfully trained and placed students into the best universities in the world, including Princeton, Cornell, Yale, Columbia, Oxford, Warwick, and Berkeley, among others.
If you are a student at any level or a postdoc, feel free to contact me for research opportunities.
