About

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, specializing in systems optimization and machine learning advised by Prof. Radu Prodan. I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai, where I was advised by Dr. Subhajit Sidhanta and Dr. Souradyuti Paul.

My research focuses on developing innovative solutions at the intersection of reinforcement learning, federated learning, and edge computing systems, with applications in drone deployment, resource optimization, and serverless computing architectures.

• Our paper titled " Toward Sustainability-Aware LLM Inference on Edge Clusters"  accepted at IEEE IOT 2025, ScaleSys workshop. Vienna, Austria.

• Our paper titled "Optimizing Drone Deployment for Maximized User Connectivity in Areas of Interest via Deep Reinforcement Learning" has been accepted to the Journal of Network and Systems Management (JNSM) Springer Nature (SCI Q1)

• Joined the University of Innsbruck as a Postdoctoral Researcher in EdgeAI lab

• Awarded travel grant to attend CODS COMAD 2024 conference at IIT Jodhpur

• Our paper titled "Reinforcement Learning for Real-Time Federated Learning for Resource-Constrained Edge Cluster" has been accepted to the Journal of Network and Systems Management (JNSM) Springer Nature (SCI Q1)

• Received Student Travel Grant for attending IEEE NOMS 2024

• Presented poster titled "Mobility Cum Battery Aware UAV Deployment" at IEEE NOMS 2024

• Our paper titled "Minimizing the Retrieval Delay in Edge Computing" accepted to Mobiquitous 2023

• Best Poster Award at ICDCN 2023, IIT Kharagpur
