Welcome to my portfolio!
Research Interest
My main field of research is numerical simulation of fluid flow and heat transfer. Flow can be in laminar, transition or turbulent condition. In the past research, numerical scheme has been employed in exploring the fluid flow and heat transfer potential in microchannel and microtube containing augmented surface. One of the augmented surface design is comprised of superhydrophobic surfaces. The laminar flow, flow stability, developing flow, and turbulent flow over superhydrophobic surfaces have been analyzed.
Apart from flow analysis, heat transfer problems are frequently studied. The heat transfer in microchannel and heat sink are investigated. Heat sink design pertaining to double layer, water-droplet grooves, and liquid containing nanofluids are examined. These augmentation have substantial enhancement on the heat transfer performance.
In addition, mixing flow problems are also studied. The liquid mixing in T-mixer and cross-mixer are studied and evaluated. The mixing performance are compared with respect to the flow speed and fluid properties. Liquid mixer containing obstacles like fins in in-line and staggered arrangements are also explored.
Apart from the thermo-fluid problem, research works have also done pertaining to the Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) applications are also performed in recent years.
