Victor's zest for life was infectious. His love for music was the rhythm of his heart, the very pulse of his existence. An accomplished musician, Victor played with various bands throughout the Rio Grande Valley, creating harmonious memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. He was also an award-winning track star at Homer Hanna high school, a testament to his talent and commitment. Victor's professional journey led him to serve as a Security Guard at the Marshal Security Office for 4 years, where his charismatic personality and diligent work ethic were admired by all.
Victor was not only a member of the Knights of Columbus, but also a dedicated parishioner of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Pflugerville. He was a film buff, an avid surfer, and a drum player, whose creativity knew no bounds. But above all, what mattered most to Victor was music. It was his refuge, his joy, and his life's greatest symphony.
Victor is survived by his children, Bryan, Adam, and Allison Ortiz, who will carry his legacy forward, remembering him as a beacon of resilience, creativity, and unwavering love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Maria Ortiz, who lovingly laid the foundation for his remarkable journey.
