KOC Wallet ("KOC Wallet," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and handled when you use the KOC Wallet application (the "App"), a non-custodial digital asset wallet based on the Quantum Chain (QCC) blockchain network.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
KOC Wallet is a non-custodial digital asset wallet designed to allow users to securely manage supported digital assets and interact with the Quantum Chain (QCC) blockchain network.
As a non-custodial wallet:
Users maintain control of their wallets and private keys.
KOC Wallet does not hold or control users' digital assets.
KOC Wallet does not have access to users' private keys or recovery phrases.
KOC Wallet cannot recover or reset a wallet if a user loses their private key or recovery phrase.
Users are solely responsible for securely managing their wallet credentials.
KOC Wallet does not require users to provide personal information such as:
Full name
Residential address
Telephone number
Government-issued identification number
Date of birth
Email address
Telephone number
for the basic use of the App.
Personal information may be voluntarily provided if a user contacts customer support or submits an inquiry.
When using KOC Wallet, certain information may be generated or stored locally on the user's device, including:
Wallet address
Public key
Blockchain network information
Token balances
Transaction information
Transaction history
Wallet settings
Encrypted wallet data
Wallet addresses and blockchain transaction information may be publicly accessible due to the nature of blockchain technology.
KOC Wallet is a non-custodial wallet.
Private keys and recovery phrases, including seed phrases, are generated and managed by the user.
KOC Wallet does not:
Collect private keys;
Collect recovery phrases or seed phrases;
Store private keys on its servers;
Store recovery phrases on its servers;
Have access to users' private keys;
Have access to users' recovery phrases; or
Take custody of users' digital assets.
Private keys and recovery phrases may be stored locally on the user's device in accordance with the App's wallet security mechanism.
If a user loses or deletes their private key or recovery phrase, KOC Wallet may not be able to recover the wallet or digital assets.
Users are solely responsible for securely backing up and protecting their private keys and recovery phrases.
Information processed through KOC Wallet may be used for the following purposes:
Providing wallet functionality;
Creating and managing wallets;
Connecting to the Quantum Chain blockchain network;
Processing and broadcasting blockchain transactions;
Displaying token balances and transaction information;
Providing blockchain network information;
Detecting and resolving technical errors;
Improving App performance and functionality;
Preventing unauthorized or fraudulent use;
Providing customer support; and
Complying with applicable laws and regulations.
KOC Wallet does not use personal information for purposes unrelated to those described in this Privacy Policy.
KOC Wallet interacts with the Quantum Chain (QCC) blockchain network to provide wallet and transaction functionality.
Blockchain transactions may contain publicly accessible information, including:
Wallet addresses;
Transaction amounts;
Transaction hashes;
Block information;
Transaction timestamps; and
Other blockchain network data.
Blockchain networks are decentralized systems, and information recorded on a blockchain may be publicly accessible.
Once a transaction has been recorded on the blockchain, it may not be possible to modify or delete the information.
KOC Wallet does not control the underlying blockchain network and cannot delete or modify blockchain records.
KOC Wallet does not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose users' personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
When the user has provided consent;
When required by applicable law or regulation;
When required by a valid court order or lawful governmental request;
When necessary to provide a service requested by the user; or

Blockchain transaction data may be transmitted to the Quantum Chain network and may become publicly accessible as a result.
KOC Wallet may use third-party services, APIs, infrastructure providers, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or other technical services to operate, maintain, and improve the App.
Depending on the services used by the App, third-party providers may process technical information such as:
Device information;
Operating system information;
App version;
IP address;
Network information;
Error and crash information; and
Anonymous or pseudonymous usage information.
Third-party service providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
Where required, KOC Wallet will provide appropriate notice regarding the use of third-party services.
KOC Wallet retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.
When personal information is no longer required, it will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable laws.
KOC Wallet does not store users' private keys or recovery phrases on its servers.
Blockchain transaction records may remain permanently recorded on the blockchain and cannot be deleted or modified by KOC Wallet.
Because KOC Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, wallet-related information may be stored locally on the user's device.
Users may delete locally stored wallet information by using the wallet deletion or reset functionality provided by the App, where available, or by uninstalling the App.
If KOC Wallet provides an account-based service, users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information through the applicable account deletion process.
Deleting the App does not delete transactions that have already been recorded on the Quantum Chain blockchain.
Blockchain records cannot be deleted or modified by KOC Wallet.
KOC Wallet takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.
These measures may include:
Access controls;
Encryption of sensitive information where appropriate;
Secure communication protocols;
Protection against unauthorized access;
Security monitoring;
Vulnerability management; and
Restriction of access to information to authorized personnel.
Because KOC Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, users are primarily responsible for protecting their private keys and recovery phrases.
KOC Wallet will never request your private key or recovery phrase.
Users should never share their private key or recovery phrase with anyone.
Users are responsible for:
Securely storing their private keys and recovery phrases;
Maintaining appropriate backups;
Not sharing private keys or recovery phrases with third parties;
Protecting their device from unauthorized access;
Using appropriate device security measures; and
Verifying transaction details before confirming transactions.
KOC Wallet cannot access or recover a user's private key or recovery phrase.
Loss, theft, or disclosure of a private key or recovery phrase may result in permanent loss of access to digital assets.
KOC Wallet does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where such collection is not permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
Depending on applicable laws, users may have the right to:
Request access to their personal information;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion of personal information;
Request restriction of processing; and
Exercise other rights provided by applicable law.

These rights may not apply to information permanently recorded on a public blockchain, which cannot technically be modified or deleted by KOC Wallet.

KOC Wallet is not responsible for losses resulting from the loss, theft, disclosure, or unauthorized use of a user's private key or recovery phrase, except to the extent required by applicable law.

When material changes are made, KOC Wallet may provide notice through the App, its website, or other appropriate means.
The updated Privacy Policy will include a revised effective date.
