If you want a versatile, long-lasting daily driver for running and gym sessions with stable Bluetooth connectivity, choose KOAIEZ IP7; if you need a dedicated underwater audio solution that doubles as an MP3 player without a phone, choose wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming.
• KOAIEZ IP7 offers superior battery endurance (up to 40 hours) and Bluetooth 5.3 stability for land-based sports, but lacks built-in storage for offline listening.
• wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming features a robust IPX8 rating for deep submersion and 16GB internal memory for phone-free swimming, though its battery life is shorter than the KOAIEZ model.
• The KOAIEZ IP7 is the ideal pick for runners, cyclists, and gym-goers who prioritize all-day wearability and seamless phone pairing.
• The wedoking model is the clear winner for serious swimmers, surfers, or athletes who demand waterproof performance up to 5 meters and customizable EQ modes.
The KOAIEZ IP7 is engineered specifically for those who live their active lives on land. Its primary strength lies in its ability to deliver consistent, open-ear audio while maintaining a secure fit during high-intensity movement. The neckband design wraps around your head with skin-friendly silicone, creating a "hug" that keeps the headphones stable without causing pain even after prolonged wearing. This ergonomic approach means you can focus entirely on your workout, whether you are cycling down a busy street or pushing through a heavy lifting session, without worrying about the device slipping out of place.
For the user who values endurance above all else, this model stands out because of its massive battery capacity. You get between 6 to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, with some data suggesting a total battery life of 40 hours or more depending on usage patterns. This longevity eliminates the anxiety of charging devices mid-workout or carrying power banks to the park. The Bluetooth 5.3 technology ensures strong signal transmission with lower power consumption, allowing for multi-pairing capabilities and a stable connection within a 10-meter range. This makes it one of the best wireless earbuds for switch scenarios where you might move from a quiet home environment to a noisy outdoor setting without losing your audio feed.

However, this product is not designed for aquatic adventures. While it carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, protecting it against sweat and rain, it is not built for submersion. If your routine involves diving into a pool or getting caught in a torrential downpour that fully covers the unit, this is not the tool for that job. It excels in running, hiking, driving, and general gym use where you need HD sound quality with clear mid-range and high frequencies delivered directly to your cochlea. It is perfect for anyone looking for crystal clear calls with environmental noise removal, ensuring your voice is heard clearly during hands-free conversations while on the move.
The wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming headphone is a specialized piece of gear built for one dominant purpose: water. It goes beyond standard waterproofing by boasting an IPX8 structural rating, which supports submersion depths of up to 5 meters. This makes it the definitive choice for lap swimmers, open-water surfers, and anyone who wants to listen to music while completely submerged. Unlike many other sport headphones that simply resist splashes, this model maintains high performance during extended periods underwater, provided you switch to MP3 mode before entering the water, as Bluetooth signals do not transmit effectively through liquid.
Its standout feature is the built-in 16GB of internal memory, capable of storing up to 4,000 MP3 songs. This allows you to leave your phone at home and still enjoy uninterrupted music during your swim. There is no need to drag your smartphone to the pool deck just to stream a playlist; you can simply transfer your favorite tracks directly to the device via USB. The inclusion of four professional EQ modes—Vocal, Bass, Swimming, and Balance—gives you granular control over your sound experience. You can toggle between deep bass for intense training and optimized frequencies specifically tuned for the acoustic environment of a swimming pool.
This device also shines when it comes to call clarity in challenging environments. Equipped with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), it filters out wind and wave noise, making it excellent for taking hands-free calls during outdoor activities like surfing or beach running. The Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity provides a fast and stable link with a range of over 10 meters when used on land. However, users should note that the battery life averages around 10 to 15 hours, which is sufficient for most days but falls short of the KOAIEZ model's extreme endurance. It is the ultimate companion for athletes who view swimming as a core part of their fitness regimen and refuse to compromise on audio quality while wet.
• Best for underwater immersion → wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming: Only this model handles full submersion up to 5 meters with its IPX8 rating and requires MP3 mode for underwater use.
• Best for battery longevity → KOAIEZ IP7: With a claimed 40-hour+ battery life and 6-10 hours of continuous play per charge, it outlasts the wedoking significantly for long marathons or multi-day trips.
• Best for offline listening → wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming: The 16GB internal storage lets you carry thousands of songs without needing a paired phone, a feature the KOAIEZ lacks entirely.
• Best for land-based versatility → KOAIEZ IP7: Its Bluetooth 5.3 and lightweight neckband design make it the superior choice for running, cycling, and gym workouts where water resistance is limited to sweat protection.
• Best for sound customization → wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming: The four distinct EQ modes allow you to tailor the audio profile to specific activities, offering a level of sonic flexibility the KOAIEZ does not provide.
• Best for comfort during extended wear → KOAIEZ IP7: The soft rubber neckband and ergonomic loop design ensure it stays secure without fatigue, ideal for all-day wear compared to the in-ear fit of the wedoking.
• Best for advanced connectivity → wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming: Features Bluetooth 6.0 and ENC noise cancellation, providing slightly newer connectivity standards and better call filtering in windy conditions.
• Best value for swimmers → wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming: If your primary activity involves water, the built-in MP3 functionality and deep waterproofing offer a unique utility that the KOAIEZ cannot match.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would personally buy the wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming if my primary goal was to integrate swimming into my weekly routine. The ability to dive underwater with music and the freedom from carrying a phone via the 16GB storage creates a truly immersive experience that the KOAIEZ IP7 simply cannot replicate. However, if I were strictly a runner or cyclist who never dips a toe in a pool, the KOAIEZ IP7 would be my go-to choice due to its incredible battery life and comfortable neckband design. Ultimately, the decision depends on your environment: for switch scenarios involving water, the wedoking is the only logical path; for dry-land dominance, the KOAIEZ takes the crown.
The wedoking Bone Conduction Swimming is the correct choice because it holds an IPX8 rating supporting submersion up to 5 meters and includes built-in MP3 storage for phone-free use, whereas the KOAIEZ IP7 is only IPX7 rated for sweat and rain.
Yes, both models perform well, but the KOAIEZ IP7 leads with a potential 40-hour total battery life and 6-10 hours of continuous playback, while the wedoking offers approximately 15 hours of playtime on a single charge.
Both models support hands-free calling, but the wedoking features advanced Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) specifically designed to filter out background noise like wind and waves for clearer voice transmission.
The wedoking offers four adjustable EQ modes (Vocal, Bass, Swimming, Balance) to tailor sound for different environments, while the KOAIEZ focuses on delivering rich, clear mid-range and high-frequency audio without manual EQ switching.
