Scalable Energy Efficient Computing Lab
The Scalable Energy Efficient Computing Lab (SCENT Lab) is an emerging computing system and architecture research group in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Kyungpook National University. Our research spans a wide range of energy-efficient computing systems and architectures from software to hardware. Specifically, we are focusing on
Error-resilient neuromorphic computing architectures, particularly, spiking neural networks (SNNs)
Energy-efficient approximate & stochastic computing architectures (approximate arithmetic units)
New memory devices and memory architectures & systems for emerging applications (Processing-in-Memory, ReRAM, STT-MRAM)
Computation-efficient hardware accelerator architectures for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning
Energy-efficient quantum computer accelerator architectures and quantum arithmetic circuits
