Geophysics can be divided into pure and applied geophysics, and the Exploration Geophysics Laboratory at Kyungpook National University mainly focuses on the applied geophysics (exploration geophysics). This laboratory conducts researches on acquisition, processing, and analysis of seismic exploration data to identify the characteristics of subsurface and develop the related algorithms.
