Professional Experience
• Undergraduate researcher, Department of Physics, Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea (2023.10.~)
Advisors: Prof. Jinwoong Hwang (KNU)
Education
• Bachelor of Science in Physics: Kangwon National University, Chuncheon, Korea (2020.03.~)
Research interests
• Investigation of surface and electronic states of two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES)
• First-principles calculations based on density functional theory (DFT) and Wannier function construction to analyze and interpret the electronic band structures of TMDs
• Simulation of ARPES spectra using Wannier-based tight-binding models and the Chinook package, enabling direct comparison between experimental ARPES data and theoretical results
