About Project
Logo design, choice of typography, colour scheme and design of elements to complement the identity. I also designed two variants of business cards - vertical and horizontal.
I prepared project for two young, enterprising and ambitious girls, graduates of Japanese Studies and International Relations.
MaruGaku offer activities around Japanese language and culture, including learning Japanese, translating texts and planning tours of this beautiful cherry blossom country.
Taking up the work, I knew that I wanted the logo to represent not only the theme of the activities, but also the characters of the founders.
I wanted the logo to represent 3 elements: Conversation, Japan and Energy
The logo was meant to represent the three most important elements of their activities: Conversation, Japan, and Energy. By combining the chat bubble – symbolizing conversation, the characteristic elements of Japanese culture and nature – Mount Fuji and the waves, and the color red, which refers to the flag of Japan and the energy the girls represent, I was able to create a logo that both I and they are proud of.
This and other projects are also published on Bahence.com. This is the place where I publish my work on a regular basis. I encourage you to take a look and leave a comment.
