New balls spawn in a few predetermined spots on each map, though these vary enough that you can't necessarily rely on muscle memory to immediately stock your team up. This probably isn't gonna get much, but I know that a lot of people around the world love the game Knockout City. I was playing the game when it said it was gonna shut down on June 6th, 2023 and it was also confirmed on their Instagram page and website. I'm heartbroken over this and I know it's just a video game, but it's my favorite game along with others. A lot of us have spent a lot of time and money on this game and really love it, I wanna try to be able to send this to the studio in hopes they reconsider. Scuffles are often intense and exhilarating, and not once did I experience stutter or slowdown despite the fury of the on-screen action. There are handy gusts to help you glide speedily across the cityscapes, and special ability balls that help diversify combat and keep you on your toes. Passing balls between you and a teammate helps charge the attack, boosting how far you can lob it. A well-timed dodge can not only get you out of trouble, but knock the ball out of your opponent's hand, too, and you even have the ability to transform yourself into a ball that teammates can whack at other players or, charged up, detonate with an impressive AoE attack that can wipe out an entire team if you're lucky. This is undoubtedly Knockout City's slickest mechanic, and one that enables communicative teams to cunningly improvise when standard dodgeballs can't be found.

"There was this moment in development where we had three players on a team. Player one rolled up into the arms of player two, and player two passed that teammate to the third player. And they were already in the ultimate bomb state, immediately," he said. "And we were like, what the hell just happened, is this is a bug?! And actually it wasn't a bug at all... we didn't explicity program that, that just happened, because that's what it's supposed to do as a system."
