How to get started for the 2026-27 season?
Hello Northern Nation,
It is now time to get your student athlete registered for the winter 2026-27 season!
The athletic departments of WLW, WLN and WLC high schools, are proud to announce that we will be using Eventlink as our student athlete registration platform and athletic department game scheduling and viewing resource. EventLink will be replacing all of the functions formerly provided with Big Teams starting this fall.
Eventlink is an athletic event scheduling and registration system that is compatible with all of the needs required by the MHSAA and Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. We look forward to using these tools to help promote our athletic programs and provide a user friendly athlete registration platform for our families and school community.
To provide the most up to date information to Eventlink, there will be no “roll over” of information from Big Teams to Eventlink. All families of new high school athletes AND returning athletes will need to create a new account in Eventlink.
Directions for creating an account and then completing the registration:
Scan the QR Code that is specifically designed for WLN High School. Scanning the QR code below will take you to the start to create your account and then register your student.

You then will be asked to create an account.
You will need to create your account before registering your athlete.
After creating your Eventlink account do the following:
Click the graphic button that says “Athlete Registration.” see below.
You will see two “items” (pictured below) The “2026-2027 MHSAA Pre-Participation Form and Physical” item will allow you to upload both sides of the physical and fill out other information. The “2026-2027 WLCSD Athlete Registration” item will include your authorization of various items such as pay to participate agreements, concussion protocol understanding, sportsmanship expectations, and other topics. Both items will need to be completed for athlete eligibility so please do both after creating your account. Fre
Just like in Big Teams, you’ll be asked to upload your child’s MHSAA physical questions/ doctors question (side 1 of the MHSAA form), complete family/ student information/ insurance information (side 2 of the MHSAA form), and acknowledge many other required information all in one place.
After completing all the tasks, it will look like you need to “purchase a registration”. Registering and submitting your information is free. This is different from the pay to participate fee that will be required to be paid to WLCSD through Skyward e-Funds.
If you have already registered your athlete, please make sure you login to your account to make sure you have completed both items. Many families have only done one “item” or the other, so please double check to make sure you have done both.
