On Sunday April 19th after the 4:30 Mass, the Knights of Columbus hosted a Movie Knight. We screened the movie Triumph of the Heart, a story about St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Franciscan friar who sacrificed his life for another prisoner in Auschwitz during World War II.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support us.

On March 6th the ICC Parish Knights of Columbus held a Lenten Crab Cake sale where we offered a variety of delicious products from Captain Chucky's Crab Cake Co. Customers were able to preorder their dinners using our online order form and then pickup their food at Conahan Hall.
We want to thank everyone who participated. This was a successful event that we will look to make an annual Lenten tradition at the parish.
The Knights of Columbus hosted our second annual Knight at the Races on Saturday February 7th and it was truly a night to remember! More than 150 parishioners, families, and friends came together for an evening of excitement, fellowship, and fun. Guests enjoyed the thrill of virtual horse racing, lively games of chance, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle, all while sharing delicious food and great company. The buffet spread featured salmon, baked ziti, meatballs, cheese steaks, and much more. The energy in the room reflected the strong sense of community that defines our parish family.
The event was a tremendous success, raising $6,500 to support several worthy causes, including local pregnancy centers, seminarians, and our Knights of Columbus Scholarship fund for students attending Catholic schools. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and sponsored this special evening. Your generosity and participation make it possible for us to continue serving those in need and strengthening our parish community. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and another great night together. See you next year!
Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, and sponsored the event!
[Jesus] said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” (Gospel for May 24, Jn 20:21)
Jesus sends us into the world, just as the Father sent him. Jesus had a sacred, divine mission — to proclaim the Good News of salvation and build the kingdom of God — and we are commissioned to do likewise. As his faithful disciples, we continue his saving mission on earth, consistent with our state of life. We are not just “receivers” of the Gospel; our mission is to bear witness to the Good News in word and action, living the Gospel through our example and outreach to others.
This month, I challenge you to take a few minutes each morning and prayerfully ask Jesus how you can use your gifts for his mission, and set one clear, specific resolution (large or small) for what you will do on that particular day.
How seriously do you take this mission that Christ has given you? What specifically has Jesus sent you into the world to do? How can you better live out this mission in the workplace, in your family life, and through your participation in the Knights of Columbus?
