Terry Haney has been the owner and manager of Knicker Knob Stable since 1963. Terry has loved horses her whole life. While her family was waiting for her to outgrow this “horse stage” in her life, Terry was saving up her money by selling homemade bread. At 14 years of age she bought her first horse and has always had a horse since that time. Terry went on to become a teacher in the public school system for over 23 years. During that time she managed to acquire land and open a stable, Knicker Knob. She also found time to complete 10 Tevis rides, 8 Ride & Ties, take 3 years of dressage training and numerous other equine competitions and activities. She has been a riding instructor for over 40 years specializing in horsemanship & staying safe on the trail. She can teach English, Western, and Trail and wants her student to have fun and be safe on a horse.
