The Marine Acoustics Lab conducts research on ocean acoustics, combining physics-based insights with data-driven techniques. Our work spans a broad range of topics, including SONAR signal processing, passive acoustic monitoring, source localization, array processing, remote sensing, and the application of machine learning to address acoustics-related challenges.

Ultimately, our mission is to advance the understanding of underwater acoustic characteristics and to apply that knowledge in developing practical solutions that make a meaningful impact across diverse marine environments.
