The Institute of Communication and Business LSPR, founded by Dr. (H.C.) Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, FIPR, on July 1, 1992, offers seven majors within the Faculty of Communication Sciences: Public Relations and Digital Communication, International Relations Communication, Marketing Communication, Performing Arts Communication, Broadcasting and Digital Media Communication, Film Videography & Photography, and Digital Graphic Design Communication. Additionally, the Faculty of Business offers two majors: Management and Tourism.

LSPR also has an intra-campus student organization known as the Student Executive Board (BEM), the highest student organization that aims to develop the non-academic potential and skills of LSPR students. BEM LSPR oversees 25 student clubs divided into four categories: Science and Media Center, Arts, Sports, and Communities. One of the student clubs at LSPR is Keluarga Mahasiswa Buddhis Pramuditā, or KMB Pramuditā, which serves as a community for Buddhist students that established on October 5th, 2007. KMB Pramuditā aims to support the spiritual and academic development of its members dan has been has been actively involved in various activities focused on self-development, learning the Dhamma, and social activities aimed at contributing positively to the community.
