About me

Welcome to my personal webpage! I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Asthma Collaboratory at the University of California, San Francisco and a Data Science Fellow at the Berkeley Institute for Data Science. My postdoctoral advisors are Esteban G. Burchard and Noah Zaitlen. I completed my dissertation at UCLA under Kenneth Lange.

My mathematical research interests span numerical optimization, scientific computing, and high-dimensional statistics. I am also deeply interested in genomic analysis, computational genomics, genetic epidemiology on large datasets, and methods for admixed populations. At UCSF, I study the genomic basis of asthma in minority children.
