When a " space change" is needed, we listen...By listening and assessing best practice and experienced next steps. Interior "space pains" are a real thing, between space function definciancy, fit issues, function issues and/or aesthetics not matching clients overarching theme. The following services are the main focus for the KL team: Programming, conseptual Design, space planning, test fits (w/how the team/client works in mind--stay OR go?), aesthetic/finish selections defined, Signage design process, furniture assessment/reuse/reconfigure, Move Management, and/or Project Management.

PROJECTS:
An Industrial Modern style space that I helped with full space planning, with assessment of existing product at another site for reuse, as well as a large portion of existing BZ products located at their existing working site. This group was looking for open concept, fun, "Millennial welcoming” space, with Industrial Modern flair. I have attached the final plan view layout, including final finish schedule for GC use. We tried to have some fun and pop with the bright yellow, grays and zebra print that is in their logo!!
Requirements to meet the Law Office goals of full test fit and refresh, were as follows: Full as-built of their 2 Suite office, programming, exterior site (parking) planning in mind-in order for better function w/ Reception desk relocated to North side of bldg., incorporating additional opening and larger opening (s) from Suite to Suite for improved flow as well as meeting ADA requirements, request for a more open plan, with additional seats required for, (3) additional Lawyers, interns and support staff cubicles in mind…forcing more walls to demo for good fit & improved functioning space. All while keeping minimal changes to plumbing & HVAC.
A Design LookBook, can feature options of finish selections for building/site or all FF&E products housed in the building. Plus, specific advised products to purchase based on Designer assessment aligning with the Programming portion of the project. I.e.. Including fit, function & overall space needs fulfilled. KL has created these presentations for the use of larger company standards book for reference…for anticipation of future growth across the Globe.
An OBGYN Office that KL completed a space analysis for shared one of their “pains” was currently sharing a small office for upwards of 4 uses/staff. KL observed while on site for a few hours that the Lobby appeared to only generate only upwards of 10 patients at a time. Confirming with Management, the assessment. Therefore, creating the new Office Manager office and new shared staff office. All bearing in mind reuse of fire strobes for Lobby, existing electrical, doors, etc. This became a well-loved plan to a temporary fix before new office build out!!
