This privacy policy describes how the Sport 555 - Myanmar Trivia mobile app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it.
Information We Collect
The App does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
Anonymous device ID.** When you open the App, it silently creates an anonymous identifier for your device using Firebase Authentication. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information, and no sign-in screen is ever shown to you.
**Quiz activity.** The App stores the results of your daily trivia attempts — the date played, number of correct answers, total questions, and completion time — associated with your anonymous device ID. This is used to:
- Sync your streak and quiz history across your devices.
- Show a "community activity" feed on the home screen, listing recent players' scores and streaks alongside their anonymous device ID. This feed is visible to all users of the App.
A copy of your quiz results is also stored locally on your device.
**Sharing your results.** If you choose to share a quiz result, the App hands the result text to your device's native share sheet. You choose the destination (e.g., a messaging app); we do not receive or store anything from this action.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not use advertising or analytics software, does not request access to your camera, location, contacts, photos, or microphone, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
How We Use Information
The limited information described above is used solely to operate the App's core features: tracking your streak, syncing your progress across devices, and displaying the community activity feed.
Third-Party Services
The App uses **Google Firebase** (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store and sync quiz data. Firebase may process this data on our behalf in accordance with [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not sell or share your information with any other third party.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your quiz data is retained for as long as the App is installed and associated with your anonymous device ID. Uninstalling the App and reinstalling it will generate a new anonymous ID, disconnecting you from your prior history. To request deletion of data associated with a specific anonymous ID, contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect any personal information in the first place, this risk is limited to the anonymous, non-identifying data described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this document.
