# Privacy Policy

We built KK Notes with privacy in mind. We collect and process only the data needed to provide note storage, synchronization, collaboration, AI features, subscription management, and to improve the app. We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertisements, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

## Information We Store

To keep your information available across sessions, we store the notes, checklists, categories, and other content you create. We also process a user identifier, an installation identifier, subscription status, AI credit balance, and limited AI usage information needed to operate the app.

## App Usage Information

To understand which features are useful and where the app can be improved, we record basic in-app usage events, such as which screens are opened and which features (for example dictation, checklists, or AI actions) are used. We also store your device's time zone and language. This information is linked to your user identifier, is stored with our own backend provider, and is not used for advertising or shared with third parties for their own purposes. It does not include the content of your notes.

## Accounts and Shared Notes

You can use KK Notes without providing an email address. The app creates an anonymous user identifier so your notes can be associated with your installation.

If you choose to share or join a shared note, we ask for a display name. It is shown to the people in that note so collaborators can recognise each other. Notes you share can be viewed or edited by the people you invite.

## Voice Dictation

When you use dictation, your speech is converted to text by your device's speech recognition service (Apple on iOS, Google on Android), which may process audio on their servers. KK Notes receives only the resulting text, which becomes part of your note. We do not store audio recordings.

## AI Features

When you actively use an AI feature, the relevant note content, selected text, and your request are processed through the Google Gemini API to generate the response you requested. We do not use your notes or AI requests for advertising.

## Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and by Google through Google Play. KK Notes uses RevenueCat to verify purchases, manage subscription access, and restore purchases. We receive subscription status and product information, but we do not receive or store your full payment card or banking information.

## Service Providers

KK Notes uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, synchronization, usage analytics, and backend services; Google Gemini API for user-requested AI features; RevenueCat for subscription management; and Apple and Google for store purchases. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable data-processing terms.

## Data Deletion

Your account information, notes, and usage information are stored while your account remains active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the Profile screen inside the app. Some service providers may retain limited transaction or security records when required by law or for fraud prevention.

## Children's Privacy

KK Notes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
