This program is made possible in part by a grant from the Suquamish Tribe and Suquamish Foundation.

Kitsap Project Connect is a series of annual services and information resource fairs that bring together local organizations who serve low-income and homeless individuals and families in need. These events are hosted in coordination with the Kitsap Point-in-Time (PIT) Count to ensure everyone who is unhoused is counted accurately for reporting to the state to receive additional funding throughout the year.

2024 MEDIA AND OUTREACH

Download the resources below to print and share to help us get the word out!

Hello Friends,

We are the 2024 Project Connect Donations Team reaching out to you, the members of the Kitsap Housing and Homelessness Coalition, to help us as we call on our community to host Donation Drives. We’re asking that if you are a member of a club, church or other organization that might wish to host a drive, will you help by sharing the contact information of the administrator or officer who we should contact?

Will you also allow us to mention your name? This way we aren’t making a cold call which might not get the same attention as a proper referral!

We understand that this is a Big Ask, and we promise to only ask once!  This is our KHHC primary annual project, and this seems to be the most efficient way for our small team to make fruitful contacts in our community. We are counting on folks being especially open to supporting Project Connect and the population we serve, during the upcoming Season of Giving.

Thank you,

Katy and Jo

Your small but mighty Donations Team

Feel free to reassure your organization’s contact person that we will be happy to collect their contributions and support them in every way.

Please share the information below to MsJoWalter@gmail.com.
