The piano should be tuned at least once per year.
It may require more frequent tunings depending on the temperature and humidity changes or age of the piano. If the piano has not been tuned in several years, it may require a pitch raise and a fine tuning to bring it up to standard pitch. I will leave a business card on your piano with the date of service, so you can contact me the next year or as the piano requires servicing.
It usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to tune. Any repairs require extra time and add to the cost. You do not need to move the piano. I can do that if necessary. I do ask that you remove items from on top of the piano. Also, please have all audio devices on mute or off, so my ear can concentrate on correcting the piano pitches.
The base rate for tuning a piano is $150.
If a piano has not been tuned in several years, it may require a pitch raise and a fine tuning. The pitch raise is $90 in addition to the base rate.
I accept cash, check, money orders, Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal. I also can make an invoice for your organization to mail a check to me.

If there is a mechanical problem with the instrument, please call to schedule an appointment for repairs.
The piano's inside working parts are called the action. I can make repairs and adjustments to the action, keys, and pedals. Repairs cost extra depending on the extent of the repair or replacement of parts.
Use water to slightly dampen a cloth to clean black and white keys. If the white keys need more cleaning, you may use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball. Do not use rubbing alcohol or any cleaning products on the black lacquered keys.
Dust the outside of the piano as you would the other furniture in the room. Do not use a dusting product on the keys. When I visit, I will dust the inside and outside of the piano.
