"Eretmodus adventure diary package"

• Exhaustive written (pdf, or e-book, protected from re-distribution. Specific format TBD) trip diary and log. I'll write it every day during the trip's evenings. Fresh, first-hand report from the lake shores.

Text will then be proofread and polished once back home. Estimated delivery of the diary is by Jan 2022.

• The diary will be complemented by a set of 50 original, unpublished underwater fish and habitat pictures. These will be Enea's original material captured with the photo/video equipment you're helping to fund (Sony a7iii full-frame camera or equivalent FF, underwater housing, double strobes setup, 4k video capability and night/low-light underwater illuminator for improved quality video capture). You will also get 20 location/extra pictures (not underwater, but shores, non-fish fauna like birds/insects/other oddities).

A total of 70 original pictures, not to be published anywhere else, with an embargo period of 12 months after the trip ends (i.e. until 22 Oct 2022 no-one else will have access to such pictures and they will not be published on the internet. Enea reserves the possibility to use the pictures and videos included in the "adventure diary" in invited talks at conferences, even before the embargo period expires)

• all that is included in the "Eretmodus" package

• One video of 3-5 min that Enea will record every day before night-time, selfie-mode, with first-hand experience from lake shores while on the trip. Anecdotes, personal impressions, highlights of the day, tips-and-tricks and practical advice for wannabe lake travellers... useful especially if you're dreaming of joining a lakeside adventure yourself in the future!). 13-14 vlog videos total

• 4k underwater videos from the lake. Number of videos will depend on visibility/conditions, available space on the SD cards (4k can be memory-hungry!) and other factors. Enea is aiming for 30 mins of total footage to be delivered. Same embargo rules for the photos of the "Eretmodus package" are applied to videos.

Finally, with a donation of 150 EUR or more you also get the special perks of:

• All that is included in the "Eretmodus" AND "Tropheus package"

• ONE chance to ask Enea for something special, just for you. It can be a picture of a specific fish (encounter not guaranteed), a specific question I will try to answer while on the lake (e.g. "what's the temperature at 25m deep at that location?" or "Can you give me a list of species that you saw together in the surge habitat at Halembe"? or "Where did you and travel-mates spot the most Petrochromis sp. red individuals?".

Please make note of the fine print:

- You'll get the answer only to the question or request of pic you asked yourself, not all of those requested by all "Petrochromis package" supporters. The answer/photo will be privately delivered by email or other technological mean.

- If you request a specific picture and I manage to take it, you also get to be co-author of the photo. This means your full name will be included, along with Enea’s, on the picture watermark and/or label in every occasion the photo is used/shown/published. Also, you gain the access to the RAW in addition to the JPG of the image, and are free to print it, make posters, even sell it if you will. Credit to Enea as co-author must be maintained in all re-use of the picture, either commercial (i.e. any money involved) or for free.

- Requests that imply more than one single question (e.g. “Can you tell me what was the biggest diameter of a Cyathopharinx nest you’ve seen, and can you take a video and a photo of it?”) will not be considered. You’ll be notified if your request is not acceptable, be downgraded to the “Tropheus” package and refunded 50 EUR (i.e. difference of cost between “Tropheus” and “Petrochromis” package)

- I will not dive below 30m, even if specifically requested. Same goes for extra/unplanned dives.

- I will not do anything illegal/forbidden or morally questionable. E.g. no bringing back fish/rocks/empty snails etc, no tampering/messing around with natural habitat, no netting and pulling fish out of the water to take pics or measurements. This is at Enea’s discretion and personal value-set. No exceptions allowed.

Written answers to questions and requests for pictures (not video) are allowed by default.

- There is a chance that your specific request will not be fulfilled (e.g. encounters with specific species cannot be guaranteed). In this case you will be refunded (you’ll have to have a paypal account) of the 50 EUR difference between the “Tropheus” and the “Petrochromis” package. You still get all the perks of the “Tropheus” package.
