Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Kip app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Vladimir Khuraskin (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects anonymous usage statistics through Amplitude, an analytics service. These statistics are linked to a randomly generated installation identifier, not to your name or to any account. They may include:
your device's Internet Protocol address, from which an approximate country is derived
the screens of the Application you open, the time and date, and the time spent on them
the operating system, device model and application version you use
which actions you take, such as starting the onboarding, logging a sleep, opening the purchase screen or completing a purchase
your child's age in whole months, whether the child was born early, and the reasons you select when you start a rough patch plan, which include teething and illness
Your child's name, exact date of birth, notes and the times of individual sleeps are never sent to the Service Provider or to any third party. They stay on your device.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device. The Application never reads the location of your device.
Reminders and sleep notifications you turn on are scheduled locally by iOS on your device. There is no push server, and their content is not sent anywhere. The Service Provider may use the Application to show you important information and required notices inside it. The Application does not collect your email address and does not send marketing messages.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, your child's name, date of birth and, if the child was born early, the expected due date. You also create sleep records and rough patch records. All of this is stored on your device and is not retained by the Service Provider.
Third Party Access
The Application has no user accounts and no server operated by the Service Provider. Your entries are not uploaded anywhere. Data leaves your device only in these cases. Anonymous usage statistics are sent to Amplitude and are linked to a pseudonymous installation identifier rather than to your name. Purchase and receipt information is sent to RevenueCat, which the Service Provider uses to check whether Kip Premium is active on your devices. Payments themselves are processed by Apple, and the Service Provider never sees your payment details or your Apple Account credentials. The Application does not use any crash reporting or advertising service, and it does not track you across other apps or websites. The Service Provider may share information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. Analytics is limited to the pseudonymous statistics described above and is never linked to your name or to your child's records. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
Your entries stay on your device for as long as you keep the Application installed. You can delete individual records inside the Application at any time: a deleted record is hidden from every view and is no longer used in any calculation. Deleting the Application removes its data from your device, and there is nothing for the Service Provider to delete on their side because the entries were never sent to them.
Amplitude retains the anonymous usage statistics on the Service Provider's behalf for as long as they are needed for product analysis. RevenueCat retains purchase records for as long as needed to support restoring a purchase and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Deleting the Application does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the App Store settings of your Apple Account.
You can also write to khuraskin.dev@gmail.com and the Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Application is made for parents and caregivers aged 18 or over. It is not directed to children, and a child is not asked to use it or to provide anything.
Information about your child is entered by you, the parent or guardian, and is stored on your device. The Service Provider does not receive it. The only child-related information that leaves the device is the age in whole months, whether the child was born early, and the reasons you select for a rough patch, all of which are sent as anonymous statistics that are not linked to a name.
If you are a parent or guardian and you have any question about this, please contact the Service Provider at khuraskin.dev@gmail.com.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Your entries are kept inside the Application's own storage on your device, protected by the operating system and by your device passcode or biometrics. Set a passcode on your device and avoid jailbreaking it. Because your child's records never leave the device, there is no server of the Service Provider that could be breached. No method of storage is completely secure, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-04
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
