OBITUARY

"Aged Resident of Rural Tioga Dies"

"Mrs. John Sivertson, 84, of rural White Earth, 16 miles south of Tioga, died at her farm home Sunday morning (Nov 5).

"Services will be Thursday, Nov 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Williston. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with Rev. Father John Halloran officiating.

"Margaret Farrell was born Oct. 18, 1860 in Rochester N.Y. At the age of three she moved with her family who settled near Rochester, Minn. where she was reared and received her education.

"The family later moved to White, S. Dak. where she taught school. She moved to Williams County in 1907, where she homesteaded about 14 miles south of Tioga, where she met and married Mr. Sivertson in October, 1908 at Williston, with Rev. Fr. Arsenault officiating, and they have made their home in that vicinity until her passing.

"Mrs. Sivertson was a member of the Catholic Church in Tioga. Surviving her are her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Crilly, Turner, Mont.; Mrs. J.G. Ronin, Chicago, and Miss Sarah Farrell, Seattle.

"A nephew, W. C. Crilly of Williston, and other nieces and nephews at various points also survive her."
