Dr. Joel W. Bunkowske, Esq. AKA Dr. J.B. Esquire is a Nashville guitarist, songwriter, producer, record company owner, and award-winning attorney with over 30 years of experience in the Christian music, TV, and film industries. He is the recipient of Grammy, Gold Record, and Dove Awards for his legal work in the music and film industries. His record company in the 1990s was distributed worldwide by Warner Brothers (WEA) where he worked with engineer/producer Eddie Kramer (the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Santana) recording Jimi Hendrix's band members (Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox), Stevie Ray Vaughan's Band (Double Trouble), Buddy Guy and many more. He has also worked with Academy Award-nominated actors, Grammy and Dove award-winning recording artists, and legendary producers.

Dr. J.B. Esquire has worked extensively in the film, music, and television industries doing finance, distribution, consulting, producing, executive producing, directing, and contracts for hundreds of projects worldwide with Warner Bros., Universal, Disney, Sony, Amazon, Netflix, Paramount Pictures, ABC, NBC, FOX, Capitol Records, EMI, Word Records and many more. 

Dr. J.B. Esquire has his J.D. in Law, an M.B.A., and a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Before becoming an entertainment attorney, he worked as a broadcast television director and producer for seven years with weekly programs on ABC and FOX in Indiana.

Dr. J.B. Esquire has a Christian rock band Kingdom Cross and a Christian blues band Jb Esquire and Blues for the King featuring his vocals, music, guitar and bass playing, and music production.
