Always a skilled golfer, Hill never gave up his amateur status and through the years has participated in hundreds of tournaments, as well as being an active participant in the promotion of charitable golf tournaments in Texas and Louisiana. He also assisted in the founding and working of the Ronald McDonald Houses in Texas and Louisiana. Hill also helped with Big Brothers and other children causes in Texas, including the Special Olympics. His golf team won first place in the NFL Alumni Tournament in 1995 and 2001. He placed second in the tournament in 1996.

Hill played 11 seasons in the NFL with three teams and would spend 35 years in the league as a player, coach and scout, serving as Bum Phillips' offensive coordinator with the Oilers during the Luv Ya Blue era and then joining Phillips on the New Orleans Saints' staff.

"This is a really sad day," Phillips said. "King was different from almost anybody I've ever worked with. He was the most polite, gentle man. And, (on the) football field, he was polite but direct. When he said something, he meant it.

"He was the ideal guy to have on your staff. (Coaching) wasn't work to him. He really enjoyed it. He could communicate without all that hollering. You don't need to raise your voice when you know what you're talking about. And he never bragged about anything. He was a great golfer. He could go and shoot 71, 72 without any practice. But he'd never talk about it."

Ordinarily, Hill shared the starting job with Frank Ryan, who would go on to win an NFL title quarterbacking the Cleveland Browns. Ryan had sprained his knee earlier in the game, so Hill wound up playing 45 minutes against the Aggies.

The north central part of the city is home to the King Hill Community Center. The center offers a large meeting space and one additional smaller space, a small kitchen, a computer room, as well as office space. Outdoor features include a paved walking trail, playground, vita course, a ballfield, and a blacktop for basketball. In addition the center has two picnic pavilions with tables. A program for senior adults is offered several days a week, and an after school and full day summer program are offered for children. The center is available for community meetings and rentals.

Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in Education and Inclusion at the University of Worcester. Alongside this she was a regional tutor for the MEd in Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties with the School of Education at the University of Birmingham. Sophie has worked extensively in the third sector. She has taught sex and relationships in schools across the West Midlands and was the National Impact Coordinator for a leading sexual health charity for children and young people. In her work with a local council she researched, implemented and evaluated an Independent Travel Training programme for children and young people with SEN, this programme is still currently in operation and is deemed as best practice in this sector. Within her career Sophie has worked with many diverse groups across education and health settings. Sophie developed an accredited programme for teenage parents across the West Midlands which ran for six years in conjunction with working as an antenatal teacher specialising in teaching diverse and low-socio economic groups.

Sophie currently holds an ESRC New Investigators Grant as principle investigator (300k, June 2022- June 2024). This research intends to explore what constitutes normal, problematic, abusive and violent sexual behaviours in children and young people in the UK aged 13-18. This data will then be used to develop an assessment tool for professionals working with children and young people. This is in collaboration with Brook Charity and the Lucy Faithfull Foundation. This project has also featured in TES magazine Why sex education in schools is flawed | Tes

Sanders began working with the King Hill Community Development Corporation to clean up the neighborhood in 2010 before joining with the city in 2016. Each year, city residents can sign up to join an MLK Day of Service initiative like the King Hill project.

The King Hill Site (23BN1) is located in a residential area of the city of St. Joseph, Missouri. The archaeological site is situated on top of a high, west facing bluff overlooking the Missouri River Valley. It was excavated by members of the St. Joseph Chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society and the Summer Field School of the University of Missouri - Columbia over a 10 day period in the summer of 1966 under a cooperative agreement with the St. Joseph Museum. Work was continued in the fall of that year and into the next by the St. Joseph Chapter. Additional work was conducted at the site by the University of Nebraska.

In 1972 further excavations, funded by the National Science Foundation, were undertaken by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Uranium is a known human carcinogen. The federal legal limit for uranium is set at 30 micrograms per liter (corresponding to parts per billion), but utilities can also report uranium in picocuries per liter (pCi/L), which is a measure of radioactivity in water. EWG translated all uranium results to pCi/L using a conversion factor developed by the EPA. With this conversion approach, the limit of 30 ppb corresponds to 20 pCi/L. Drinking water with this much uranium would cause more than 4.6 cancer cases in a population of 100,000. California set a public health goal for uranium of 0.43 pCi/L.

The EWG Health Guideline of 0.43 pCi/L for uranium was defined by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment as a public health goal, the level of a drinking water contaminant that does not pose a significant health risk. Three most common uranium isotopes are U-234, U-235 and U-238. All isotopes of uranium are radioactive, and the total radioactivity depends on the ratio of isotopes. This health guideline protects against cancer. VIEW MORE TESTING DATAPollution SourcesIndustry

Early in the season, I ski up to the pass and back on metal-edged skinny skis. After big powder or later in the season, like this day, there is one exposured corner that becomes fairly technical and could result in sliding down a short chute into some trees; so I go with full alpine touring gear. There are several sidehills that offer fun powder in the trees so bring a helmet. 2351a5e196
