PRIVACY POLICY FOR KINETO

This Privacy Policy applies to the Kineto mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), developed by Niven Yuki. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe, transparent user experience.

This policy explains how Kineto handles sensor data, device permissions, and personal privacy.

ON-DEVICE SENSOR DATA PROCESSING

Sensor Utilization: Kineto uses your device's built-in accelerometer and gyroscope sensors to compute inertial motion vectors and vehicle dynamics in real time.

Real-Time Ephemeral Computation: All sensor calculations are executed strictly on your local device in volatile memory (RAM). Sensor readings are consumed instantaneously to render anti-motion-sickness visual cue animations along the screen edges and are immediately discarded.

No Storage or Transmission: We do not store, log, record, or transmit any motion or sensor data to external servers, cloud storage, or third parties. No sensor data is ever written to persistent storage.

ZERO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

No Account Required: You are not required to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use Kineto.

No Personal Information: The App does not collect, access, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, contacts, or hardware identifiers.

No Location Tracking: The App does not access, track, or record your GPS coordinates or coarse/fine location.

No Analytics or Trackers: Kineto contains zero advertising networks, tracking SDKs, behavioral analytics, or device fingerprinting tools.

REQUIRED SYSTEM PERMISSIONS AND USAGE

To deliver its core visual assist overlay, Kineto requests the following Android system permissions:

Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) Purpose: Allows the App to render subtle, unobtrusive motion cue dots along the screen edges across other applications while you are in a moving vehicle.

Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE) Purpose: Required by the Android operating system to maintain continuous sensor sampling and visual cue rendering while the assist service is running, preventing the system from prematurely terminating the process in the background.

Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) Purpose: Displays an ongoing notification in your notification tray while the service is active, providing convenient quick controls to pause, resume, or terminate the overlay at any time.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Kineto does not integrate with, share data with, or transmit data to any third-party commercial services, advertisers, or cloud analytics providers.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Because Kineto collects no personal data whatsoever, it is safe for all users, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.

DATA SECURITY

Because all sensor computations occur strictly within your device's temporary memory and no personal or usage data is collected or transmitted, your information is protected from remote interception, unauthorized access, and server-side data breaches.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect updates to the App or relevant legal regulations. Any updates will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
