I've learned that every successful project, client partnership, and team has one thing in common: people who feel supported, heard, and equipped to do their best work. These are the effects of a quality leader, and that's the kind that's the kind of leader I strive to be.
As a Project Manager at Faceplant Creative, I lead client projects from onboarding through delivery and support the operations of a growing marketing agency. I connect teams, anticipate challenges, strengthen client relationships, and build systems that keep projects moving forward.
Before transitioning into business operations, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Arlington Baptist College and a Master of Education in Instruction Systems Design and Technology from Sam Houston State University. My years of experience in the classroom taught me how to communicate with empathy, adapt to changing circumstances, simplify complex ideas, and help others grow with confidence. It continues to influence how I manage projects, collaborate with teams, and serve clients in the corporate world.
Outside of my career, one of the greatest joys in my life is mentoring college students alongside my husband as they navigate growth, adulthood, and challenges. We open our home to create a place where students feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged. Investing in the next generation is one of the most meaningful things we do together, and it's a privilege to be with these students as they grow in confidence, resilience, and purpose.
I'm known for building trust quickly, communicating with clarity, staying organized under pressure, and bringing stability when priorities shift. I enjoy serving as the person others rely on to connect people, solve problems, and keep momentum moving in the right direction.
I'm seeking opportunities with organizations that value collaboration, integrity, and people-first leadership, places where I can continue building relationships, leading meaningful work, and helping teams achieve results that matter.
In 2015, I launched my photography business, combining my passion for creativity with my talent for capturing meaningful moments. As a small business owner, I have honed my skills in digital and verbal communication while managing client relationships and delivering exceptional results.
Photography allows me to express creativity both behind the camera and in designing engaging content, such as website visuals. This experience not only fuels my artistic side but also enhances my ability to approach projects with an innovative mindset.
I believe this entrepreneurial venture brings valuable skills to any organization, whether it's capturing professional employee headshots or documenting large-scale corporate events. My experience in balancing creativity with professional execution adds a unique dimension to my skill set, ready to support organizational goals.
My thesis project was created to help teachers learn how to use different types of technology that can be implemented in classrooms for project-based or game-based learning. The website is a self-taught training and has the following:
Topics teachers wanted to know more about for integration
A video showing how to create one main example
Step-by-step pictures of how to create the example
3-6 other examples for the topics
In the spring of 2019, I achieved a lifelong dream by publishing my first book, Where Do I Call Home? A Third Culture Kid Story. This short story follows the journey of an American girl growing up in the Middle East, reflecting my own experiences as a Third Culture Kid (TCK).
The book was written to help fellow TCKs—and their family and friends—embrace and celebrate the unique challenges and joys of growing up in an international environment. Sharing this story has been one of my proudest accomplishments, as it provides representation and connection for a community close to my heart.
I am deeply moved by the excitement of children and adults who recognize their own experiences in the pages of my book. It’s an honor to contribute to their sense of belonging in the Third Culture world.
