If you want best gaming headphones for gaming with massive battery life and deep bass, choose KIM HOST OBT-020; if you need kids headphones for gaming or sports sessions that require zero phone dependency and superior sweat resistance, choose LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones.
• KIM HOST OBT-020: Delivers 55 hours of total playtime and powerful 16mm drivers for immersive sound, but lacks internal storage so you must carry your phone.
• LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones: Features built-in 8GB storage to play music independently and IPX7 waterproofing, though the driver is smaller and battery life per charge is slightly lower.
• Who picks KIM HOST: The audiophile who prioritizes long listening sessions, deep bass, and stability over all else during long workdays or marathon gaming.
• Who picks LOBKIN: The active user or gamer who wants to leave their phone behind, needs absolute water protection, and values the freedom of air conduction tech.
The KIM HOST OBT-020 is engineered for those who view their headphones as an extension of their comfort rather than just a tool for audio delivery. Its defining characteristic is the "feather-light" design that rests gently outside the ear canal, effectively eliminating the pressure points common with traditional in-ear buds. This ergonomic approach allows for hours of continuous wear without the fatigue that often plagues heavy gamers or commuters. If you are someone who puts on headphones first thing in the morning and takes them off only when the sun sets, this model is built specifically to withstand that duration.
For the gamer seeking high-fidelity performance, the OBT-020 integrates 16mm dynamic drivers that push significant bass and clarity into the mix. Coupled with Bluetooth 5.3 technology, the connection remains stable with ultra-low latency, which is critical for syncing audio with visual action in fast-paced titles. You won't have to worry about the audio lagging behind your character's movements, making it a solid contender for anyone looking for hifi stereo true wireless earbuds for gaming.

However, this model demands a trade-off regarding autonomy. Because it relies entirely on a Bluetooth connection to your device, you cannot use it as a standalone player. If you plan to go for a run or a walk without your smartphone, the OBT-020 becomes useless. Furthermore, while the battery lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge, the total ecosystem offers 55 hours including the charging case, meaning you will need to recharge the case periodically if you are using the headphones continuously throughout multiple days. This makes it ideal for stationary gaming setups or office environments where a power source is always nearby, but less suitable for rugged outdoor adventures where charging isn't guaranteed.
LOBKIN has designed its X31 model for the person who refuses to be tethered to their phone. The standout feature here is the built-in 8GB storage capacity, which holds approximately 2000 songs directly on the device. This transforms the headphones from simple Bluetooth receivers into independent music players. For a gamer or athlete who wants to leave their smartphone in the locker or at home, this is a game-changer. You can load your favorite tracks or game soundtracks onto the headphones themselves and listen without ever needing to pair with a secondary device. This independence is particularly valuable for runners or cyclists who want to minimize distractions and avoid fumbling with a phone screen.
The durability profile of the LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones is also unmatched for extreme conditions. With an IPX7 rating, these earbuds are completely resistant to sweat, rain, and even temporary submersion, offering a level of protection that goes beyond standard sweatproofing. The magnetic charging port adds another layer of resilience against corrosion, ensuring the device survives the rigors of intense workouts or unpredictable weather. The construction utilizes memory titanium alloy frames combined with liquid silicone, resulting in a weight of just 26 grams. This ultra-lightweight build ensures a secure fit that feels like nothing on your head, eliminating the tingling sensation often found in bone conduction models.
In terms of audio delivery, LOBKIN uses Directional Audio Delivery Technology to manage sound leakage and protect privacy. While the driver size is listed as 11 millimeters—smaller than the KIM HOST's 16mm—the efficiency of the air conduction method aims to deliver clear sound directly to the ear. The inclusion of ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) microphone technology ensures that voice calls remain transparent even in noisy environments. Additionally, the support for dual-device connectivity allows you to seamlessly switch between a laptop and a tablet or phone, making it a versatile choice for multitasking professionals or gamers managing multiple platforms simultaneously.

After analyzing the specifications and real-world use cases, I would personally buy the KIM HOST OBT-020 for my daily routine, especially if I am settling in for a long gaming session. The 55-hour battery life is simply too good to ignore, and the 16mm drivers promise the kind of bass response that makes gaming worlds feel alive. However, if my primary goal was to go for a run without my phone or if I needed absolute waterproofing for harsh weather, I would immediately switch to the LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones. For a dedicated best gaming headphones for gaming setup where power and audio fidelity matter most, the KIM HOST OBT-020 is the winner.
Yes, both models are marketed for teens and adults, but the LOBKIN's lightweight titanium frame and secure fit make it safer for active kids who might move around while gaming. The KIM HOST is better for seated, calm gaming due to its larger drivers and focus on immersion.
Only the LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones function independently because they have built-in 8GB storage to hold music files. The KIM HOST OBT-020 requires a constant Bluetooth connection to a paired device to play audio.
The KIM HOST OBT-020 likely delivers richer bass due to its larger 16mm dynamic drivers compared to the 11mm drivers in the LOBKIN, making it the preferred choice for music lovers who prioritize depth over independence.
The LOBKIN Open Ear Headphones feature an IPX7 rating, allowing them to be rinsed with water, whereas the KIM HOST OBT-020 is IPX5 rated, meaning it handles sweat and light rain well but should not be submerged or rinsed aggressively.
