It was 7th of December, the big day. We arrived earlier than other teams. We looked more professional that other teams. We stand out in the crowd. This is what we look like on the competition day. Core Value judging was first on our schedule. We are trying our best even though it's our first time being in the judging room, it's our first time presenting in front of the judges, it's our first year participating. It was totally different from what we have thought, we were imagine that the judges were very scary, won't even smile. It turned out that every judge were so kind, and they have a smile on their face all the time, and they were impressed on how we work together, especially our bracelets and logo design. Surprisingly, the judges only wanted to ask us one question! and that is how does our coach guide us! They said that our presentation were clear, and has include everything on the rubric. Thanks to our coach and captain! Our presentation was taking up on our first practice round, and so we have to quickly put our attachments and robot in to the small inspection area. Normally it takes quiet a while to do it on average teams, but it only took us one minute to do it. The head judge liked us a lot !
" Everyone ready? " The host shouted cheerfully, " three, two, one LEGO! " Everyone shouted together.
" KIDWE LAB ~~~ KIDWE LAB ~~~ KIDWE LAB~~" Our cheering was the loudest out of all. This is weird. Super annoying weird. Super duper annoying weird. And we don't know how to fix it. Our robot-Kidwe Bot was only walking with one wheel, when it's supposed to be two. (Which means that it's twirling and twirling like a carousel) Not knowing what to do, our technician - Sophie turned the brick off, and thought that it was the gyro sensor's problem. But actually the motor's cable was loose. When it has finished restarting, we only had roughly one minute left. We got 165 points, when we can actually get higher, but we still came third for that round!
