KidoStars is a parent-managed routine and reward app. A parent or guardian creates the family profile, controls routines and rewards, and decides whether information is backed up.
KidoStars may save:
Parent name and email address
Child name, age, avatar, and theme
Routines and tasks
Task completion history
Stars, streaks, and badges
Rewards and reward requests
Parent notes
Reminder and application settings
Parent PIN configuration
Google Play Premium purchase status
This information is used to provide the app’s routine, reward, reporting, backup, and parental-control features.
Family information is primarily stored locally on the user’s device.
If a parent enables automatic Google Drive backup or exports a local backup file, a copy is stored in the location selected by the parent.
KidoStars does not operate a separate cloud account database in the current version.
Google Drive access is provided through Android’s system file picker.
The parent chooses:
The Google account
The storage location
The backup file
KidoStars can update the selected backup file after app changes and restore information when requested by the parent.
Google processes Google Drive information according to Google’s own Privacy Policy and terms.
KidoStars is designed for use under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Children cannot:
Create public accounts

Purchase token
Purchase acknowledgement status
This information is used to unlock and restore Premium features.
KidoStars does not receive or store payment card or banking details. Google processes payments according to Google Play’s policies.

Information is shared only when required to provide a parent-selected service, such as:
Google Drive backup

These services are governed by their providers’ respective privacy policies.
Information remains on the device until it is:
Edited or deleted by the parent
Removed using Delete local account in Settings
Cleared through Android application settings

Backup files saved on the device or Google Drive are not automatically removed when the local account is deleted. Parents must delete those backup files separately from their selected storage location.
KidoStars provides optional Parent PIN and device biometric controls to protect access to parent features.
No electronic storage method is completely secure. Parents should protect their:
Device

Exported backup files
Child Mode should not be considered a replacement for Android device-level parental controls.
